Nuclear power is the only technology that offers a clean, reliable, and safe base load for the supply of electricity. Spent nuclear fuel from current light water reactors is regarded as a problem by most who rage against advancing nuclear power, yet it is the critical material that newly developed fast reactors can use to create centuries worth of electricity for the entire US. The electricity that could be produced is worth $10 trillion dollars at one cent per kWh.
